1. Apharwat Peak

Apharwat peak is at a height of about 14000 ft from the sea level. one can reach here with the help of gondola cable car. This place is heavily gaurded as it lies near the LOC .Special permission is required from Gulmarg army base office to visit this place. There is frozen lake about 2 km from this place.
2. Gulmarg Gondola

Gulmarg Gondola is one of the most popular attractions of the world famous tourist spot of Gulmarg. It is the only cable car system in Asia which travels up a height of 13,500 feet above sea level. The Gondola was designed in technical collaboration with a French Company PUMA and is operated by the JKCCC (Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation). The Gondola operates in two phases, PHASE 1 and PHASE 2. Each Gondola is a small yellow colored cabin with space for 6 adults. The cabins are slung on high tensile strength cables which move continuously. The Gondolas have two stops, where they slow down to enable Embarking and Disembarking of Tourists.
3. Alpather Lake, Gulmarg

Beyond Khilanmarg 13 km from Gulmarg at the foot of the twin 4, 511 metres Apharwat peaks, this lake remains frozen until mid-June and even later in the year one can see blocks of ice floating in its icy waters. The distace from Gulmarg follows a well-graded Pony track over the 3, 810 metres Apharwat ridge, separating it from Khilanmarg, and then up the valley to the lake at 3,843 metres. The more adventurous trekkers can climb straight up the boulder-strewn slope of the ridge and travel down the other side to the path. For horse riding aficionados, Alpather Lake makes an exciting day's excursion, starting early morning and returning late evening.
4. Ningle Nallah, Gulmarg

About 10 km from Gulmarg, Ningle Nallah is an amazing and beautiful mountain stream that flows through shining green valleys. With snow-packed mountains in the backdrop and meadows of heavenly wildflowers on either side, this gurgling stream makes for a dream-like scene that could be found only in drawings and paintings. The water by the melting of ice in Apharwat Peak and Alpather Lake is the main source of Ningle Nallah. After passing through mountains and valleys, this stream merges into the River Jhelum near Sopore. The grassy pastures on the sides of the stream are ideal for camping and picnics.
5. Khilanmarg

Khilanmarg is located at a distance of 4 km from the Gulmarg bus stand. Tourists can easily reach this place by walking across the meadows of the valley. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the valley is scattered with wild flowers in the spring season. Tourists can enjoy the panoramic views of the Nanga Parbat, the Himalayas, and the twin peaks of Nun and Kun. Several scenic tourist spots are located in proximity to Khilanmarg.
